Darkness shall swallow her whole.
An elf princess. A human soldier.
A turbulent encounter on the battlefield.
A journey to survive together.
A forbidden attraction that threatens to consume them.
An ancient, dark enemy prepared to do anything to take the power back.
I never knew what direction this book would take, I was on the edge of my seat and I loved it! She falls for the morally black villain and I was cheering her on the whole time. The world building is fun and easy to follow, there's exploration of the world, non stop action and romance that had me on the edge of my seat.
Watching Nauriel's emotional journey was addicting. She struggles with the inherent goodness of Elvish nature versus the darkness of Men. The push and pull dynamic between her and Amlach was riveting, having me breeze through their hurdles.
This dark fantasy standalone is incredibly dark and twisted. A true morally black MMC, gory, spicy, and heartbreaking that had me hooked! It starts straight out of the gate and doesn’t let up.
